Luxembourg city

The capital of this tiny state that counts only 120,000 inhabitants is located less than 30 km from the village and its historic center has been declared a World Heritage Site. Here between its characteristic streets and squares you can discover many beautiful places of art among which it is imperative to remember: Grand Ducal Palace of Luxembourg, the residence of the Sovereigns of Luxembourg since 1890; Notre-Dame Cathedral, a Gothic style building, with two spires on the towers that resembles the one in Paris. Place Guillaume, the main square of the city where the City Hall is located. However Luxembourg city offers not only history and architecture, actually this small country is one of the three main headquarters of the EU and hosts its jurisdictional and financial institutions which can also be visited by tourists.
