The paved footpath around the recreational lake is flat and suitable for both cyclists and skaters. A youth hostel with free parking is located on the east side of the lake. Here you will find a bicycle rental, a 14-meter-high indoor climbing wall, trampolines, and a beach volleyball court. A little further south, you will find the "de grénge Schapp" where you can eat a hamburger and rent a pedal boat. When you continue the walk, you will pass a large picnic area with public barbecues. There is also a parking area. Walking further down west, you will encounter many nice winding paths and bridges. The children will have fun with the playground equipment along the route. On the north side you will find a Brasserie with an outdoor terrace. When you follow the path, you will arrive at the Roman Villa. Here is also a playground, where all children (big and small) will have a great time. If you would like to enjoy an ice cream at the end of the day, you can do so at the outdoor terrace of the youth hostel. We advise you to keep the east side of the lake (one of the recommended parking areas) as a starting point. Thus, keeping the playground and other interesting attractions for children until the very end. Keep in mind that it can be busy on weekends. Furthermore, it is forbidden to swim in the lake.
